Teams are the heart of GoSo NICA!

NICA teams are more than just sports teams: they’re places where kids thrive, challenge themselves, and develop their character while riding bikes together.

Find a Team

We’re forming teams from Paso Robles to San Diego! If there’s not an existing team close to you in the central or southern part of the state, you can start one! If you’re located in the northern part of California, check out our friends, NorCal NICA.

Start a Team

We’re forming teams from Santa Maria to San Diego! If there’s not an existing team close to you in the central or southern part of the state, you can start one! If you’re located in the northern part of California, check out our friends, NorCal NICA.

Start with your why.

NICA teams are about more than just racing or riding fast. NICA teams are places where kids build camaraderie, learn from each other and become life-long friends. A team starts with an adult (or group of adults) who can help create this positive environment for kids.

Who can start a team?

Teams can start with parents, teachers/schools, bike shops, or local rec programs.

What does a team structure look like?

Teams can be school-based, or built as “composite” teams around a geographic area. Teams can be big or small! You’ll need a minimum of 1 adult coach for every 6 kids.
